The deepest belief I have ever held is that all of us, every person, has a goodness within, deep inside their core, that even when we’re pushed to the edge, we can always find some love for our fellow humans.

This life is a challenge. May we find a way to walk toward the light, toward each other, celebrating each other’s beliefs, ideals, and zest for life that which measures equally against our own. May the choice we make be to understand each other and seek to be better.

When you seek to be good, when you endeavor to be better, those with goodness in their hearts will seek the light you emit.

When all the world is dark around you, put on your sunglasses and shine on. Shine so bright that the others have no choice but to see how bright you shine. Blind them with your brilliance.

It’s ok to feel coldness within you. Do not let it consume you, not every day in a year, not every moment in a season is a warm one. When you feel the warmth, share it. When you feel the cold, that is when you’ve got to light your own fire.

It is ok to believe no one else understands you. Just as long as you understand yourself. Share your experiences openly and honestly. That’s how an authentic life is truly lived.
