One day I will,
One day you will,
One day I will rise up.
One day you will see what you have lost.
One day I will climb up.
One day you will reap the cost.
One day I will stand tall.
One day you will be the one who has been tossed.
One day I will survey it all.
One day you will feel the winds of the frost.
One day I will remember the fall.
One day you will be affected by the scam.
One day I will hear the call.
One day you will be in a jam.
One day I will find my center.
One day you will be the one who spins out of control.
One day I will be the mentor.
One day you will be the one who falls into the hole.
One day I will become who I am.
One day you will have to cleanse your soul.
One day I will dream in full color.
One day we will stop this silly game.
Once we see that we are all the same.
These dreams will persist,
in quantities too many to list,
hearts that grow from love,
instead a coldness leftover from a tryst,
to angry to be pissed,
stands a man too good to have been missed.
One day you will see,
I am who I was to be,
and not the destruction,
you have made out of the pieces left of me.
