Hi! I’m Nick, aka Schnik. You’ve landed on my newest property on the web. For most of my life, I’ve found solace and expression through writing and thereby connecting to others in the sharing of thoughts, words, emotional grounding.

In the last few years I have been on a journey of discovery, and re-discovery. I’ve experienced grief, happiness, (both in their extremes) and I have experienced life in all its various ups and downs.

What I found myself needing was a place that I could showcase my writings, in a place where others could find it, co-exist with it, and could connect with it in ways that were meaningful to them.

You’ll typically find me furiously hammering away at my keyboard from the Pacific Northwest. I am a Seattle-Born, Portland-raised, Emerald City Denizen who, with a cup of coffee in one hand and my trusty sidekick Sherman at my side, is always looking for ways to experience this world, find reasons for more words, and to seek the best of humanity – and all the goodness we have within.
